• Client materials: if you become a client, information provided under your separate engagement agreement. That information is governed by the engagement agreement and, where applicable, the Onboarding Portal Privacy Addendum at https://lobsterferret.com/privacy-policy/onboarding-portal.
b. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, we may automatically collect:

7. DATA RETENTION

• Inquiry and prospect data: until you unsubscribe or request deletion, after which we will remove your information from our active marketing and prospecting systems (subject to any legal retention obligations described below).
• Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe, plus a reasonable period to process the unsubscribe request.
• Client data: as described in your engagement agreement and the Onboarding Portal Privacy Addendum at https://lobsterferret.com/privacy-policy/onboarding-portal, typically for the duration of the engagement plus two (2) years.
• Financial and tax records: as required by law, typically seven (7) years.
• Aggregated or anonymized data: indefinitely, as it no longer identifies you.
When we no longer have a legitimate business reason to retain your personal information, we delete or anonymize it.
8. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. We honor the following for all users regardless of location:
a. Access and Correction
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct inaccuracies.
b. Deletion
You may request that we delete your personal information. We will honor such requests unless we have a legal obligation or legitimate business reason to retain the information, in which case we will explain the reason.

9. INTERNATIONAL USERS
Lobster Ferret is based in the United States. If you access our website or services from outside the United States, your personal information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
